Ruby Chain es una L2 sobre Ethereum (OP Stack) construida por Elektrum SAS, con RUBY como native gas token.

Por qué existe

Para ofrecer una infraestructura blockchain rápida, barata y propia para casos de uso fintech en Colombia y la región — pagos, stablecoins, tokenización de activos. Compatible 100% con Ethereum (mismo EVM, mismas tools), pero con costos ~100x menores y tiempos de confirmación de 2 segundos.

Estado actual

  • Testnet pública sobre Ethereum Sepolia
  • ChainId 1810, block time 2s
  • RUBY como gas nativo (Custom Gas Token mode de OP Stack)
  • Bridge L1↔L2 funcional vía Optimism Portal
  • Withdrawal optimistic 7d (mainnet bajará a 1-6h con OP Succinct ZK)
